When looking into buying an entertainment center, whether it be a corner stand for your small TV or a huge center for your fantastic stereo, you have to ask yourself which type you would like to buy. In purchasing entertainment centers there are many types to choose from as there are entertainment centers which are cabinets, stands, wall mounts, armoires, and corner units. Entertainment centers can be small, such as stands and corner units or large ones, such as cabinets, armoires, or centers that take up the entire wall of a room. It all depends on what you want, what you want to spend, and how you want the entertainment system to look.

Entertainment centers constructed out of metal are just as nice depending on the décor of your room. Another option is a system that you construct yourself which can be built in various styles and shapes to fit the spatial needs of your room.

There are also stands which you can place other things besides your entertainment equipment on. Depending on how many shelves there are, pictures, plants, and books, among other things, can be put around the entertainment system making it multi purposeful as well as practical and decorative.

Cost is an important aspect of buying entertainment furniture. Entertainment centers can range anywhere from under 50 dollars to thousands of dollars. It depends on what entertainment center you would like, from home constructed ones to large gorgeous wooden entertainment armoires. To be a full time artist is both stimulating and exhausting at the same time. I talked to more than a dozen artist who full time create and travel to shows to sell really a part of themselves. They listen to crowds of people with no understanding of the process critic their art. An amazing pen and ink artist visualized it as he drew himself on a piece of paper and then tore the paper into pieces taping it back together again. I love to go to art festivals on summer evenings. I love crowds of people outside, I love the overpriced food, the bands, the artist, the people all gathering for a wonderful evening.

At the conclusion of the night we listened to an amazing blue grass band. We noticed that those who had more than their share of beer through the evening were really enjoying the music. What is it about alcohol and music? I hope the DUI’s in Erie didn’t skyrocket last night, that would be a sad end to an amazing night. I have so much appreciation for the men and women who put their all out there for us, their time, work and energy and a little piece of themselves.

Not so much music as it is environment.

Before we delve into the question of whether music can affect your behavior or not, it’s best to get some things out of the way.

For years, there have been speculations about the relationship between certain types of music and certain types of people. It is often said that those who like to listen to rap will be more inclined to inflict violence on others. Those who listen to rock and heavy metal will be more inclined to inflict violence upon themselves.

However, isn’t it important to note that sometimes, certain types of people already are the way they are even before they choose to listen to a certain type of music? To be quite frank, it’s not so much rap that induces violent behavior in people but their environment.

Kids who grew up in hostile situations are more likely to blend in. Kids who have a depressing home situation are more likely to entertain suicidal thoughts.

Music as therapy

So, can music affect your behavior? Scientific studies have revealed no direct relationship between the two. Music has always been a great way to express oneself.When you’re feeling angry, you listen to loud, angry music and sing along to the lyrics. When you’re sad, you put on angst-filled melodies and cry yourself to sleep. Sometimes, music is just that—a means of letting your emotions run free.

Of course, music also tends to put you in different moods. A nice classic piece might make you feel romantic. Soft, instrumental songs can make you feel more calm. To a certain extent, music can change your mood, but not your behavior.

Other special properties of music

Some kinds of music do have extra special qualities. For example, a lot of parents like to make their children listen to Mozart because studies showed that it improves concentration. What is it about this classical composer that helps people become smarter and more talented?
